You'll know. Start with 1mg. If that doesn't noticeably change your appetite and how you think about food then add another 1mg. Be sure to record your doses. They say to do weekly injections because from a marketing perspective at Eli Lilly they think 7 days or once a week sounds more sellable. Truth is that you notice the effect of a dose drop off noticeably at the 120 hour mark, be the end of the 5th day. So, when I dosed Reta it was once every 6 days.

Yes, Tirz GLP-1 component is stronger. I don't know the chemistry behind it, safe to say that the GLP-1 agonist in Tirz is structured differently and thus more potent. Not all GLP-1 agonist peptides are the same. GLP-1 is actually the name of the receptor on the cells that accepts hunger signaling. So, what we call GLP-1 isn't actually a GLP-1. What we call GLP-1 in our context is a GLP-1 agonist, a peptide that acts against the GLP-1 receptor. Hope that makes sense.
