Ok just mixed BBA CJC/IPA with Hospira BAC and it remains perfectly clear, if I use BBA BAC it clumps and does not disolve

Get some oh strips from Walmart for cheap and test the BBA water. Might be to acidic or basic

I have test and it tests at PH6, which is correct, non issue I have Hospira and if not then just use WFI

It's not solely the pH. Idk what it is exactly but bac water that tests fine at 6.5-7.0 still can cloud up. Usually it's after a night spent in the fridge

Yip, could possibly be too much benzyl alcohol in the bac

Ya I had the same issue through 2 kits. It also has to deal with the manufacture of the vials if it was packaged poorly

But like Rolf said if it’s far over the 0.9% alcohol that will also disrupt the amino structure and cause the gel or degrading of it

Yeah but a pH strip won't necessarily tell you if that's the case. Isn't BA neutral in water? It can interfere with peptides of course but testing the water on a strip won't necessarily get to the cause of the issue

No no I’m just saying that’s the cheaper and immediate option. If not then a refractometer but that’s a lot lol
